Volunteer Mentor - Inclusive Volunteering Pathways to Employment Program

Community Services Regular - less than 6 months Australian Capital Territory ACT

About this opportunity

As an Inclusive Volunteer Mentor, you will be matched with one of our participants who has previously had barriers to volunteering. You will be in a unique position to attend volunteer shifts with a participant and provide one-to-one assistance to them as they begin their volunteering journey and work towards achieving their goals. These can range from picking up new skills, to gaining experience in a work environment, to building confidence interacting with new people. It’s a rewarding role to be able to help another person as they work towards their employment goals through volunteering.

We encourage applications from people with lived experience of disability or mental health barriers.
