Creative Writer

Environment & Conservation Regular - more than 6 months Broome WA

About this opportunity

The Dinosaur Coast Management Group is a small not for profit based in Broome WA. Our vision is to protect and promote the dinosaur tracks of the Dampier Peninsula and to educate the public about their cultural and scientific importance. Your role would be to work with the Secretary and the Marketing Support Officer to create new and exciting articles in a variety of styles suitable for the website, Facebook and blog. We are all volunteers and as the interest in the dinosaur tracks increases we want to shape stories in different ways. We need an extra hand on the keyboard with a fresh and compelling style. We would prefer someone with proven skills but are also open to people still training. We will ask for 2 references, have an in person or zoom catch up and if we both think 'yes this could work' we'll exchange an agreement to put in place this volunteer position for 12 months. Throughout this time you'll be kept up-to-date with what is happening, have an opportunity to meet the committee and of course we can take you and your family/friends dinosaur tracking.
