About this opportunity

We are looking for Volunteer Drivers/Jockeys with a valid drivers license to join a passionate team in our Emergency Relief Food Program. The role involves sorting and collection of food from our donors. Shifts start at approximately 9am (there may be need on the odd occassion to start at 8am) for around 3 to 3.5 hour shifts.

The days are negotiable and no weekend work is required. There is some lifting required of black food crates so would not suit anyone with a back injury. It is also a requirement to collect bags as required from the nearby Op Shop as well as some breakdown of cardboard. Adhoc donation pickups of other food and material aid from various locations may also be required.


Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Time Required

A couple of times a week, any weekday morning.
