About this opportunity

The MMRC is seeking applications from potential volunteer mentors who are interested in providing one-to-one or group support after-school hours (weekday afternoons/weekends) for students in the Mentors for School Success program for a period of 3 months. The program provides one-to-one and group mentoring to students from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Mentors will provide students with individualised educational support, particularly in improving literacy and numeracy skills. Group/individual sessions will be facilitated at an educational institution in the suburb of Bassendean and will be primarily working with newly-arrived students from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
