About this opportunity

The Opportunity

Our Concierge Support Volunteers are the first point of welcome for our visitors and clients.

You will make a difference by

  • Welcoming visitors to IPC Health’s services.
  • Supporting clients, families, carers and visitors in the waiting rooms of IPC Health’s campuses
  • Work closely with Client Services staff to ensure client’s reception and waiting time is a good experience
  • Ensure all clients and visitors are offered a surgical mask
  • Ensuring waiting rooms are tidy and welcoming
  • Support Client Services staff with general admin and other tasks when needed

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated understanding and respect for our diverse communities
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner with clients and staff of IPC Health 
  • Willingness to work autonomously to support clients
  • Friendly and adaptable communication skills including active listening skills   
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English  
  • Patience and flexibility  
  • Empathy and compassion
  • Willingness to undergo national police check organised and paid for by IPC Health
  • Evidence of current flu, measles mumps rubella, pertussis, varicella, hepatitis B vaccinations or serology. Covid 19 vaccinations and boosters are also strongly recommended.

 


Additional requirements

Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Record of vaccination or serology (blood test) report for:
• Influenza for this year
• Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR)
• Chicken Pox (Varicella Zoster)
• Whooping Cough (Pertussis) less than 10 years old
• Hepatitis B blood test report showing antibodies > 10

Time Required

One or more shifts at any of the following times and locations: Mon - Fri 8:15am to 12:30pm at Deer Park, Hoppers Crossing, Wyndham Vale and St Albans
