Community Transport Drivers
About this opportunity
Do you have time to spare and desire to connect with others? MercyCare's Harman Park Community Centre in Belmont is on the hunt for volunteer community transport drivers to join our team on Thursday's and/or Friday's.
What's involved? Volunteering out of our Harman Park Community Centre (21 Harman Street, Belmont), volunteer drivers provide transport and companionship to senior members and those living with a disability, allowing them to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
• Driving clients to and from medical appointments and social programs using a MercyCare car • Transporting clients to Belmont Forum using the MercyCare shoppers bus • Supporting and providing companionship
You will need: • C Class Driver’s Licence • National Police Certificate (paid for by MercyCare) • First Aid Training (paid for by MercyCare)

7.30am to 3.30pm - one day per week on a Thursday or Friday
