About this opportunity
We have a lovely 87-year-old gentleman who lives in his own home in Forest Hill and would benefit from friendship. Chye would like a female volunteer. Chye enjoys conversation, getting out when he can, talking about life experiences, playing piano for self and others including those in aged care.
We're seeking a warm, caring, reliable and empathetic volunteer with good communication skills able to commit to weekly contact (Skype, phone calls, letters, postcards) then face to face when restrictions lift.
A minimum 12 month/ongoing commitment is also required.
