About this opportunity

Bucklands is on 48 acres of small buildings, gardens, woodlands, wetlands, and re-vegetation areas and is within walking distance to Rattalanga-Bashams Reserve.

The Centre has several volunteer positions for gardening and general maintenance of 7 acres of grounds which includes cottage gardens, formal gardens, play grounds, lawn, wetlands, woodlands and native bird corridors. Duties will include general gardening activities, weeding, tree planting, mowing, pruning, trimming, “whipper snippering”, general handyperson tasks.


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Previous experience in a gardening or maintenance roles would be an asset, but not essential.
On the job training will be provided.
Volunteers will require a DCSI “working with children” clearance.
Some heavy lifting may be required.

Time Required

Shifts available on Thursdays and Fridays between 10am - 3pm.
