Safe use of tools, machinery and equipment in a controlled environment Being part of a team environment that repairs and restores historic aircraft Trades assistant duties Preparation of aircraft for display Assist in movement of aircraft within museum grounds Assist in loading and unloading of equipment and tools Maintenance of machinery and tools Participate in museum special events days Other duties as required A strong focus on safety Reasonable level of physical ability Basic experience in trade related background Basic skills in relation to the safe operation of tools Ability to work as part of a team Some technical skills in relation to instruments or mechanical engineering Ability to work independently under instructions Good communication and interpersonal skills Aviation experience desirable but not essential
