Reception for Willunga Environment Centre
About this opportunity
The Willunga Environment Centre needs Reception Volunteers.
Could you:
- staff the desk
- answer the phone
- assist with sales & library/loan duties
- general housekeeping
- & guide people around the Centre?
Being flexible to help out with other tasks as they pop up.
Volunteers are encouraged to develop their own projects around the environment.
There is a current need for volunteers for:
- Wednesdays weekly 10 am until 3 pm
- Fridays weekly 1 pm until 3 pm
- Saturdays fortnightly in the morning
Volunteers are encouraged to develop their own projects around the environment.
Past volunteers rate the Centre highly, commenting on "the good company, feeling like part of the community, feeling useful and valued, opportunity to take action on climate change" etc.
Volunteers are welcome to pop in to the Centre in Willunga and have a chat about the worthwhile things that are happening in the environmental field that you can be a part of.
Additional requirements
Working with Children Check *.
Covid vaccination is preferred.
Friday afternoons 1-3 pm (weekly) (be available for training on Friday morning) Saturday mornings (fortnightly) or Mondays if you would like to join the sewing group!
