Reception Volunteer
About this opportunity
You must have sound clerical and office experience and this includes the ability to use a computer.
The role is client facing, with duties including answering phones, making appointments for services provided by the Centre, receiving clients in a welcoming and non-judgemental manner in what is often a fast paced environment.
The ability to multi task and work off your own intativie is an advantage.

The Centre can assist in organising a Blue Card if you don't already have one for all successful applicants at no cost to you.
The Redland Community Centre is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. There are 2 Reception shifts available each day 9am to 12pm and 12pm to 3pm and Wednesday 9am to 12pm. Wynnum Community Place is on Tuesday and Thursdays 9am-3pm. Due to the time required for induction we are looking ideally for someone who is able to commit for more than 6mths as there is substantial training required for the role.
