Dementia Companion
About this opportunity
Our Dementia Companions provide invaluable support to patients who are living with dementia. The role may include; providing reassurance, listening and responding to questions, reading, reminiscing, colouring, playing board games, assisting with meal set up, taking a patient for a short walk, offering tea or coffee or just sitting quietly.

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.

Time Required
Commitment to one shift of 4 hours per week would be ideal.

Receive initial training and ongoing support role. Must attend Hospital Orientation Day.
