About this opportunity
The main role for volunteers will be the ULTIMATE table host. This role includes selling raffle tickets to guests and helping with live and silent auctions.
As a Team Leader, you will be overseeing a section of tables and their Table Hosts - on hand to assist as necessary and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. You will also be required to assist Table Hosts with selling raffle tickets.
Team leaders will work closely with Fight Cancer Foundation staff to ensure all volunteers are supported on the night.
As a Table Host - Team Leader you will:
• Be a confident leader with excellent communication skills. • Be highly motivated and self-driven. • Be committed to our vision of supporting the lives of families living with cancer. • Be reliable and invested in supporting us at this event. • Hold a happy and friendly disposition and have a fearless approach to meeting new people. • Have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. • Exhibit flexibility to assist with ad hoc tasks on the night • Love to meet new people and collaborate as a team. Have Eftpos experience and knowledge desirable, but not a necessity.
• Hospitality skills desirable, but not a necessity. • Previous experience as a team leader/manager is preferred.
Please note, all volunteers must be 18 years or older
All volunteers will be provided with a Fight Cancer Foundation branded t-shirt to wear on the night.
Black pants or a skirt should be worn along with black comfortable shoes.
