About this opportunity
LEARNIT Youth Mentoring Program is funded by the Department of Transport and Main Roads Community Road Safety Grants. This Learner Driver Mentor Program is designed to assist pre-learner and learner drivers, who do not have access to a suitable vehicle or supervisor, to obtain their learners permit and learn to drive.
Volunteer Driving Mentors are required to supervise 16 to 24 Year olds to gain their 100 hours required for them to get their P Licence. Supervisor training and vehicles supplied by Queensland Youth Services Inc. Issue of Certificate by Qualified Driving School Instructor. Open licence required. Empowering Youth - QYS provides services for young people with a view to improving their quality of life and well-being. We provide opportunities for young people to achieve a safe and sustainable lifestyle. Flexible commitment from 6am until 8pm, Monday to Sunday, weekly, fortnightly, monthly. Induction to supervising, by professional Driving School.
