Public Relations Volunteer (Customer Service)
About this opportunity
Provide a warm welcome and assistance at the front counter of metropolitan and regional police stations. Meeting and greeting customers, assisting with enquiries where possible. Offering support to SAPOL staff and customer service to the public. Volunteers will be in the front counter of police stations together with SAPOL employees and will be supported by SAPOL staff.
All applicants are required to be over 18 years of age, Australian citizen or a residency visa of not less than 2 years. Selection is subject to probity checks, integrity checks and an interview.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
4-30 hours per fortnight.
