About this opportunity

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is a national program which aims to enrich the quality of life of older people. As a volunteer, you will be making a real difference by:

  • Spending time with participants engaged in shared interest activities
  • Providing companionship and support
  • Reducing the social isolation experienced by some older people.
