After School Education Program Volunteer
About this opportunity
This volunteer position is within the Education Programs of the St Vincent de Paul Society in Warrnambool. It is expected that this role would include around 2 hours of volunteer time per week for a minimum 6-month commitment. We are looking for volunteers who are collaborative team members and happy to assist with all aspects of our program including food preparation, administration tasks, cleaning procedures associated with COVID19 policies, set up and pack up of the learning environment and most importantly, having fun and working enthusiastically with our students!
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Academic strength in literacy and numeracy would be appreciated but most importantly good communication skills, patience and a willingness to have fun and engage with the students is a must!
We are also looking for 2 volunteers who have a specific interest in assisting our program with the admin tasks associated with running the program.
3.00pm - 5.00pm Tuesdays or Wednesdays during school terms
