Thrift Shop Volunteer

About this opportunity

Activ Albany Thrift Shop volunteers work together in pairs to ensure the smooth running of the shop. Duties include: • Sorting and displaying merchandise • Till operation and money handling • Ensuring general cleanliness of the shop • Working in partnership with our Activ Customers, Adults living with disability, who also volunteer in the Thrift Shop. The shop opening hours are 9.30 am – 3.30 pm weekdays and we are looking to extend opening hours to include Saturday mornings until 12 pm . 6 volunteers are needed to cover shifts for: Thursday afternoon, 12 pm – 3.30 pm ; Friday afternoon, 12 pm – 3.30 pm and Saturday mornings; 9.30 am – 12 pm.

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate ^*.

Time Required

Will vary from time to time. Currently Thursday 12 pm – 3.30 pm; Friday 12pm – 3.30 pm and Saturday 9.30 am – 12 pm.
