Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.
Inclusion Melbourne believes that everyone within our community should be able to live in an inclusive community, supported by people who genuinely care for them, and have equal opportunity to participate in community life. Through our volunteer programs, we provide social support and friendship to people with a cognitive disability and older Australians who are at risk of loneliness and social isolation.

Whether you love to read the paper, sing, enjoy music or a tea/coffee, or chat, our residents would love to spend time with you. We're hoping you can be the gentle supporting hand to assist our residents to become more involved in day-to-day life at the home. We love nothing more than hearing the beautiful Macedonian language from our volunteers & our residents.
