Want to make a difference in the life of a young person? 1-2 hours a week is all it takes! The Merri-bek TAC L2P Program assists young learner drivers (aged between 16-21) who have no access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to gain the driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence. Volunteer mentors support young people to gain supervised driving experience in an L2P car - no cost to young people or volunteers. Volunteers undertake comprehensive VicRoads training.

Do you like boats and sailing? This role involves collecting a 3.5M poly boat on a purpose-built aluminium trailer with an electric start 4-stroke motor and towing it 500 meters to a public boat ramp. Launch the boat with the help of club members, drive the boat out onto Throsby Creek and lay markers to create a sailing course. Return to shore and be on standby to collect distressed model boats if required. When racing has concluded, collect the buoys & return the boat to its original location.

PCYC Queensland’s Braking the Cycle program supports young people to complete their mandatory 100 hours of supervised driving in a safe and suitable vehicle with a volunteer mentor. The vehicles are kindly donated by the community. Our Ten Pin Bowling program has over 100 registered athletes and approximately 80-90 bowl regularly at our monthly bowling sessions. Our bowling program currently runs on the last Sunday morning of each month, in Forest Hill. We are looking for Lane Managers to work on an assigned lane and support and direct athletes when bowling.

We are looking for driving mentors for novice drivers aged 16-25 who face barriers to completing their required 50 log book hours and obtaining their license. A caring, non-judgemental attitude is required and a car is provided.
