Dandenong Primary School

Doveton College, Dandenong Primary School, Dandenong South Primary School and Noble Park Primary School have formed an alliance to deliver a coordinated and well resourced after hours educational support program to their students.

This initiative was developed as part of the schools’ involvement in the Refugee Education Support Program (RESP) which is a Department of Education and Training (DET) funded program. The schools are supported in this initiative by the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY).

Out of School Hours Learning Support Programs (OSHLSPs) assist in developing young people’s confidence and helping them socially and academically to participate in class in a more meaningful way. In particular, this alliance will focus on enhancing the literacy and numeracy skills of the students.
