Workplace Learning

Workplace Learning Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands (WLIS&SH) is an organisation whose purpose is:
“to help young people make the transition through school and from school to work, further education and training”.
Working under the motto “Young People, Our Future”, WLIS&SH has been in operation since 1997 with a board of directors drawn from its membership base. It consists of people with strong links to local industry, schools and the broader community who have a shared vision and that strong partnerships between schools, industry, families and the community will be a vital contributor to achieving our mission to assist the regions young people secure their future.

WLIS&SH is a not for profit organisation operating under the NSW Associations Incorporation Act 2009 and Associations Incorporation Regulation 2010. To support its mission and to achieve its goals it has sought and received funding from a variety of sources, primarily from government.
