About Friends of Royal Perth Hospital

Friends of Royal Perth was established in 1959 and has about 400 volunteers. We run the Friends Shop as well as the trolley service. A percentage of the profits from these outlets are donated to departments in our hospital to fund the purchase of equipment.

Volunteers also escort patients to different parts of the hospital, do their shopping, provide a magazine and flower service, make tea and coffee, look after outpatients, help with archiving and administration, and help at the Museum.

Volunteering is a great way to make a contribution to your community.
