About Lifeline Western Sydney
Lifeline Western Sydney is one of the largest centres accredited by Lifeline Australia to answer telephone crisis calls to 13 11 14, and is a service of UnitingCare Mental Health.
We operate 24/7 and answer over 70,000 crisis calls per year from people of all ages who are in crisis due to a range of issues including:
• Suicidal thoughts
• Relationship difficulties
• Mental illness
• Domestic violence
• Addictive behaviour
• Social isolation
• Disabilities
This service would not be possible without our friendly, caring team of dedicated volunteers. As the demand for the Lifeline telephone crisis service is continuing to grow, we are looking to expand the team.
