About Bunbury Regional Toy Library Incorprated

Our Toy Library is a beautiful little community organisation, which is a lot like a book library, however, instead of borrowing books, our members pay a membership fee to borrow toys!

The Toy Library has been running for over 30 years!
(with a few name changes along the way, initially known as the Leschenault Neighbourhood Toy Library and then the Eaton Toy Library). You may remember it from when you were a kid?

We operate out of the Eaton Family Centre, as a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation. Our members are all families - they include parents, grandparents, and other carers, and of course their children, aged from 3 months to about 6 years. Our library is run by its enthusiastic and enterprising member's committee which keeps the Toy Library running.

We open four times a month, every second and fourth Monday and Saturday. Our members run the 'open days' helping the other members return and borrow their toys. These 'open days' are fun, high-energy and slightly chaotic at times (the children love the library!), but always relaxed and friendly.

Our little library provides an amazing service which allows families to save money, reduce their environmental impact, and meet other families, also teaching our children the value of community and sharing our resources.
