Lions Club of Manly

Lions is a community service organisation and at the Lions Club of Manly we are dedicated to helping our community thrive through a range of projects, including helping local community organisations, humanitarian aid, medical research, disaster relief and more.

Here are some of the regular projects we organise through the Lions Club of Manly:

- Manly Markets Monthly BBQ
- Annual Circus Quirkus – Free tickets for disadvantaged children and their carers paid by donations from businesses who purchase the tickets
- Collection of second hand eye glasses
- Car sponsorship for Tibetan driving classes
- Feed the Hungry food collection at the local supermarkets to support community centres and homeless shelters
- Diabetes awareness, handing out leaflets at shopping centers to create awareness
- Support of the nippers programmes
- Support for the purchase of ‘walkers’ for disadvantaged children
