About Hunter Cancer Research Alliance

Hunter Cancer Research Alliance is a multi-disciplinary alliance that brings together over 400 members researchers and clinicians working across the key cancer service delivery & research institutes in the Hunter: the University of Newcastle (UON); Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI); Hunter New England Local Health District; and the Calvary Mater Newcastle. The primary purpose of HCRA is to encourage and promote a collaborative approach to all types of cancer research, moving discoveries from the lab to the clinic, from clinical trials through to system-wide change, and also cancer prevention and service improvement.
