Advocare ( Supported by Volunteer Melville!)

Advocare is an independent community based not for profit organisation that supports and protects the rights of older people in WA through advocacy, information and education. Our mission is to provide an independent voice on behalf of older people, informing service delivery and influencing practice. Advocare engage volunteers within our community Visitors Scheme, by visiting an older person who is socially isolated or lonely, we are assisting them to capture their life story, significant moments and listening to what is important top them. Through positive engagement and companionship, we are connecting and making a difference to people's lives.
