About Pawprint Foundation

More than a quarter of a million healthy cats and dogs are destroyed in Australia every year. Sadly so many animals are surrendered to pounds and end up on a Deathrow list. They can be euthanised within 3 to 7 days, unless we assist with their rescue.

Our main focus is to rescue and rehome those, injured, abandoned, on deathrow and homeless under our ethical rehoming program.

We recruit volunteer foster carers who open their hearts and homes to those in need. We also require volunteer social media posters and admin coordinators to help us advertise cats and kittens available for adoption, as well as manage behind the scenes admin.

Our current project “Far North QLD Move a Paw” is aimed at helping the already overloaded rescue groups and shelters in Far North QLD.

Rescued animals are transported to SE Qld and placed in foster homes. They are then fully vetted i.e. desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and then placed for adoption.
