About Globe Town Project Inc
Globe Town Project is a small, not-for-profit community arts oragnisation based in Fremantle WA. It enables social connection, wellbeing, and collaboration through storytelling and creative arts practice. It does this through a range of programs for the public, as well as programs delivered in collaboration with schools or other organisations.
The aims of Globe Town Project are:
> To improve wellbeing - social connection, confidence, self-esteem, mental health, resilience, and creative capacity - in all our participants.
> To promote storytelling and creative arts as being central to social connection, creativity, and positive change within the community.
> To increase access to creative arts for everyone.
As a small and young not-for-profit organisation, Globe Town Project needs volunteers to help build its programs and deliver high quality workshops and events while keeping prices low and accessible for the community. Most of the existing programs are designed for children and young people, but new programs for adults are on the horizon.
Volunteering with Globe Town Project is both fun and rewarding!
