PTSD Dogs Australia - Rescuing Dogs Who Rescue Veterans & First Responders living with PTSD.
PTSD Dogs rescues shelter dogs, then custom trains them as a certified PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) Assistance Dog.
The custom trained and certified assistance dogs are then given to our Military and Emergency service both current serving and retired personnel who due to their service to our community and Australia have been diagnosed with PTSD.
Dogs chosen to be a part of the Mateship program have a calm soothing temperament and have a natural ability to show empathy when their humans show signs of distress.
