About North Perth United Soccer Club

Our Club and its history ……
North Perth United is one of the oldest amateur football clubs in Perth, was originally formed in 1973. Over this period the club has had a proud and colourful history with its many characters and memorable moments.

North Perth United’s home ground is situated at Woodville Reserve, North Perth and can be seen clearly from Fitzgerald Street. The clubrooms are within the Woodville Pavilion where home team supporters have over many years, enjoyed their afternoons voicing support for North Perth United whilst sitting on the “hill” behind the clubhouse end goal.

With its proud history of Western Australian football North Perth United has had teams participating across all divisions of the state’s amateur football, from the football of division three and social leagues to the first division and premier leagues. Our senior team has over the years attracted some of the state's best players, especially in the late 1990's and once again in the recent years.

The club is currently a member of Football West and has three participating senior teams. Having topped the ladder and gaining promotion in 2009 the first team were promoted into the Football West Amateur First Division with the Reserve team also in the First division reserve league. After consolidating their place in the First division in 2010, they went on to win the league in 2011, promoting them back into the Sunday League Premier Division, after an absence of 6 years. In the 2013 season the club entered a social team to the Football West Metropolitan league.

The club has approximately 50-60 registered players with approximately 20 non playing members who assist in the day to day running of the club. All four of our teams enjoy excellent support from a supporter base consisting of wives, partners, children, friends and local North Perth residents.
