About Ladder Foundation

Ladder is an independent not-for-profit organisation established in 2007 to help young people aged 16 - 25 break the cycle of homelessness.

Ladder gives young people the tools to take control of their lives, transition to independence and achieve their potential.

We provide a mix of housing, support services and personal development programs at Ladder Foyers and at other Foyers in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. Ladder also runs an employment, education and training program in Western Sydney, which supports young people exiting out-of-home care.

Our approach to working with young people is to focus on their strengths and what they can achieve, moving away from the cycle of disadvantage and negativity they may have experienced in their lives. It is about developing self confidence and helping young people to identify and achieve their life goals.

Ladder currently operates in Collingwood, Broadmeadows, Glen Waverley, Geelong, Bendigo, Warrnambool, Mount Druitt (NSW), Adelaide and Perth, with plans to have a presence within each region that hosts an AFL team by 2020.
