Jindabyne "Op Shop" Alpine Uniting Church

The Jindabyne "Op Shop" serves the community of the Snowy Mountains. We provide pre loved clothing,bedding,household goods,toys,sporting goods and bric a brac.We are a recycling resource and handle about 5 container loads of donated local goods.We are staffed entirely by volunteers from youth to pensioners.
Our dedicated band of volunteers increase in numbers in the winter when our population In winter our customer base swells by twenty thousand and we welcome seasonal volunteers on board.
We aim to be an extended family for everyone who comes to Jindabyne and the mountains. We provide a free community meal on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM and a free sausage sizzle on Saturday morning. Our operating hours are Saturday 10:00am to 2:00PM and Wednesday 2:00PM to 8:00PM.
Our "Op Shop" is a Wi Fi Hot spot with three lap top computers and a printer available for free public use. We are accredited with a number of local employment agencies to assist clients who may wish to volunteer as a stepping stone towards longer term employment.
