WIRES NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc., has been serving the community, rescuing and caring for native animals for 30 years now. WIRES mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and to inspire others to do the same.

WIRES Rescue Office operates 365 days a year to help the community to assist native wildlife in distress. In the last financial year WIRES received over 69,000 rescue calls for wildlife, providing rescue advice, wildlife information and education to the community and providing rescue and care services to tens of thousands of native animals.

With over 2500 volunteers across 27 branches WIRES is actively engaged in local communities providing wildlife information, rescue and care services on an ongoing basis. In the last financial year we also trained hundreds of new volunteers in wildlife rescue and care.
