Wesley Do Care

The Do Care program recruits, trains and supports volunteers to support socially isolated, frail older people and adults with disabilities who live in the community, by establishing continuing relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Wesley can provide assistance that links people into community activities of their choice e.g. going out for coffee and/or group activities. Telelink is also a program that allows people to talk on the phone (as a group) on topics that interest them. It is free and is often only one hour per week and operates from the comfort of their own home. An in home respite service for carers is also available, if required.
