The Big Ccat Project is an online community cataloguing program designed to harness community expertise and skillsets, contribute to a sense of belonging and well-being in volunteers, and to enable community access to collections via cataloguing and publishing online. 🛩️ Join Us in Preserving Aviation History! 🛩️ Do you have a passion for aviation and a desire to contribute to the preservation of history? The Far North Queensland Aviation Museum invites you to become a valued volunteer and help develop Mareeba's premier community-based aviation museum.

Do you have a love of trains? We are looking for versatile volunteers and have several different positions to fill: Driver / Guard / Signaller / Maintenance Crew and the Kiosk. In each of these positions you can also assist with roles such as customer service, public direction, ticket collection, signal operation, guard, maintenance crew etc. and eventually the elevation to 'Train Driver' for those who are interested.

We require a mature, experienced, business oriented and skilled grant writer and fundraiser to assist the museum with writing and submitting grant applications. Will also be required to source quotes, funding and grant opportunities and give advice and guidance to the committee.
