About Good Samaritan Housing
Good Samaritan Housing (GSH) is a not-for-profit organisation, established by the ministry of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan. GSH provides supported independent living accommodation for mothers and their children who are homeless, or are at risk of being homeless. GSH supports our residents to transition to independent living in the community.
Residents of Good Samaritan Housing are supported by Case Managers who work on site with families to design and deliver individual programs and activities, focused on developing the knowledge and skills they will need to live independently in the community. The Executive Officer and the Board perform their roles in a volunteer capacity.
