About this opportunity
The Sustainable Impact Mentoring program is designed to help people with innovative ideas and projects to create an impact in environmental sustainability. The program connects young environmental professionals or students with experienced mentors in the environmental, sustainability and international development fields, to develop strong relationships over 6 months. Mentees will be matched with mentors who have similar professional backgrounds and areas of interest. They will have the opportunity to develop and incubate their ideas and receive guidance and support in taking them forward to achieve transformed environmental and social outcomes.
Applications close on 30th January.
Applicants will be provided with a registration form with information about themselves, their group and their innovative project for environmental sustainability.
They must be available for an interview in February and able to attend the three workshops and the public forum in June.
The program includes three workshop sessions, in addition to the mentoring meetings. The first session will be held on Saturday 11th February. Participants will remain in touch with their mentor between workshops through emails, calls and face to face meetings. The program will conclude with a public showcase on 17th June, where participants will have the opportunity to present their projects and ideas.Good for
