About this opportunity

Senior Community Volunteers needed to provide mentoring, support and leadership for youth on a project run by Jubilee Community Services, St George TAFE Outreach and Georges River College – Oatley Campus.

The project will bring disengaged youth, disable youth and senior community volunteers together to work on a school community garden.

Volunteer mentors will be trained by TAFE and matched with young people. The project will be lead by a TAFE gardening trainer. Volunteers and students will be learning about gardening and the role of the volunteers is to support and mentor the students.

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

Keen desire to work with youth and learn about gardening.

Thursdays 9am-11:30am
