Volunteer Science Program Curator for Radio

Education & Training Regular - more than 6 months Bayswater WA

About this opportunity

We have some wonderful science knowledge within our MITE Radio team. What we need, is someone with a knack for, or interest in audio to pull together their content with a curated music list.

It's a fun role, and there's plenty of support to help you.

An interest in science, and technology would be helpful, but not essential.

This is a unique opportunity. You'll have the opportunity to build skills in a supportive environment.

Our premise is an online radio station that helps people (particularly those over 50) to feel more comfortable and informed about technology so they can use it to make their lives easier. Technology is changing so fast at the moment, it can be quite daunting, and we want to help reduce the fear and risk. We'd like someone to join us who would like to help us fulfill our objectives.

Time Required

We're looking for someone reliable with a longer term commitment to the project, we'd like you to become part of the team. Some consistency of availability is helpful, but the amount of time you spend is flexible. 1 hour per week would be great, 4 hours per week better :-).
