About this opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Research grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources.

• Prepare compelling grant proposals, applications, and reports that effectively communicate the organisation’s mission, programs, and impact.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with grantors, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and reporting deadlines.

• Work with the leadership team to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organisation’s goals and priorities.

• Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, major donors, and corporate partners to solicit financial support.

• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage donors and raise awareness of our cause.

• Explore innovative fundraising opportunities, including online giving platforms, peer-to-peer fundraising, and cause marketing partnerships.

• Build and maintain a donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions and contributions.

• Acknowledge and steward donors through personalised communications, thank-you letters, and recognition events.

• Cultivate relationships with prospective donors through targeted outreach, meeting, and engagement opportunities.

• Provide excellent customer service to donors, responding promptly to inquiries and requests for information.

Do you have:

• Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive grant proposals and donor communications.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in fundraising software, donor databases, and Microsoft Office suite.

• Highly organised and detail- oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
