Garden Support Volunteer
About this opportunity
To undertake some tasks not performed by the contracted gardener. Dead-heading rose bushes, weeding, pruning back overgrowth (perennials), water in hotter months (additional to underground system), other duties as requested on an ad-hoc basis.
Some previous gardening/horticulture experience is required.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
2-3 hours per week (negotiable in cooler months)
