The City of Marion seeks passionate Social Support volunteers to enrich the lives of our cherished older community members. You'll bring them joy, connection and independence by supporting them to access medical/health related appointments, shopping and social activities to name a few. Join us to enrich the lives of our cherished senior residents.

This opportunity doesn't require specific skills - just a caring attitude and a love for engaging conversations.

We offer comprehensive training, continuous support and a travel allowance reimbursement in return for your generous spirit.

Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence . National Police Certificate *. Working with Vulnerable People Check .

The successful applicant will need to have a full Australian Driver's licence and a car with comprehensive insurance. Any Police checks or clearances needed will come at no cost to applicants.

Time Required

A regular commitment is preferred on consistent days each week/fortnight/month - preferably for more than 6 months
