About this opportunity
Bushfire volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local communities are safe. We are looking for someone with good administration and organisational skills to undertake the following tasks:·
- Use of software to record and track brigade funds.
- Create and manage invoices and payments. Follow up to ensure timeliness.
- Provide a financial report to brigade meetings.
- Manage various forms of communication including emails, postal mail and telephone.
- Maintain a systematic filing system on the brigade computer.
- Submit yearly request for the Local Government Grants Scheme (LGGS).
- Reviewing and overseeing reconciliation of all accounts.

Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (C) . Medical Check *. National Police Certificate *.
We will require that applicants hold as a minimum a current C class licence or at least be working towards it.
Medical declaration to be completed upon application.
Volunteer Police check is provided by the Shire at no cost to you.
Collie Preston BFB train frequently, some duties can be conducted remotely.
