Section Leaders needed!

1st Geraldton Scout Group has been operating since 1926 for the youth of Geraldton. We provide skills to the youth, to become leaders amongst the community.

“The Mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.”

Geraldton Scout Group are looking for Section Leaders to run the Scouting Program each week. Section Leaders run the Scouting program each week. They are the ones who go away with the Scouts, sign off badge work and generally have a great time doing the activities with them. Being a Section Leader is the most rewarding and most popular volunteering role within Scouts.

Days needed: Evenings on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Volunteers who can commit on a long term duration would be preferred. You would be required to work independently, as well as with others.

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Time Required

Required in the evenings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. It would be preferred if you can volunteer on a long term basis. However, contact us and we can discuss your availability.
