About this opportunity

There are numerous community arts programs throughout Banyule, supporting the preservation and celebration of the diverse heritage and cultures within the City.

The Council's Arts and Culture Department host the following Community events:

  • Twilight Sounds
  • Eco Festival
  • Malahang Festival
  • Carols by Candlelight
  • Lantern Festival

The Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub is a multi-venue facility, supporting thought-provoking and high quality exhibitions, workshops, performances and events. Council's Arts and Culture Department also manages Banyule's public art program and the Banyule Art Collection. Volunteer roles may include:

  • Gallery Sitter
  • Event staff


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Volunteers must be interested in Art/Culture and have a friendly and approachable manner and be able to work unsupervised..
