Looking for a FUN, CREATIVE, RETAIL volunteer role? Looking to gain retail experience?

We are looking for volunteers to join our friendly team in a front of house role.

Volunteer tasks can include:

  • Providing helpful and courteous customer service – meet and greet customers
  • Processing sales – using a simple computer register, EFTPOS/credit card facilities and cash handling
  • Re-stocking shop floor – basic visual merchandising
  • Stock preparation – sorting, cleaning, steaming and pricing
  • Store housekeeping – tidying, dusting, and cleaning
  • General shop duties
  • Sorting and preparing donations
  • Pricing donations

  • Undertake training as required

All Vinnies volunteers (minimum age 15 years) require a National Police Clearance prior to commencing. Note: This is at no cost to you.

* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.

Time Required

Monday and Friday 9 am - 5 pm (2 full days @ 15 hours) Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12 noon - 5 pm (3 half days @ 15 hours) Monday or Friday 12 noon - 5 pm (1 day @ 5 hours) Saturday 2024 10 am - 3 pm (2 x full shifts)
