Looking for a FUN, CREATIVE, RETAIL volunteer role? Looking to gain retail experience?
We are looking for volunteers to join our friendly team in a front of house role.

Volunteer tasks can include:
- Providing helpful and courteous customer service – meet and greet customers
- Processing sales – using a simple computer register, EFTPOS/credit card facilities and cash handling
- Re-stocking shop floor – basic visual merchandising
- Stock preparation – sorting, cleaning, steaming and pricing
- Store housekeeping – tidying, dusting, and cleaning
- General shop duties
- Sorting and preparing donations
- Pricing donations
Skills and attributes
- A desire and ability to learn
- A willingness to follow policies, procedures and instructions
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- A friendly and compassionate personality
- Ability to listen and respond courteously
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
- Have sensitivity to the values of people of other faiths, cultures and lifestyles
- Willing to follow Vinnies Policies and Procedures
- Undertake training as required
All Vinnies volunteers (minimum age 15 years) require a National Police Clearance prior to commencing. Note: This is at no cost to you.

* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
Monday and Friday 9 am - 5 pm (2 full days @ 15 hours) Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12 noon - 5 pm (3 half days @ 15 hours) Monday or Friday 12 noon - 5 pm (1 day @ 5 hours) Saturday 2024 10 am - 3 pm (2 x full shifts)
