AFL Cairns Umpires Association Incorporated

The AFL Cairns Umpires Association (AFLCUA) provides Field, Goal and Boundary umpire panels to AFL Cairns on Wednesday (U18YG, Colts), Saturday (Women, Reserves & Seniors) and Sunday (Juniors U12 – U16) to AFL Cairns.

We train Tuesday and Thursday from 545pm – 7pm at Cazaly’s Stadium in Cairns.

On Tuesdays, we put up the appointments for the weekend and the following Wednesday. We also put on a subsidised meal every Thursday night in our social rooms for our members, as well as having a members cash draw.

We have people from 12 - 70+ umpiring, with a strong family connection.

A nominal amount of money per game is offered to our umpires to support this hobby.
