Hobart City Mission's furniture warehouse located in Moonah. To provide a service to the Community we are open from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 4pm. This store sells a large array of pre-loved furniture, electrical items and records. Duties include customer service, cash handling including eftpos and cash register processing, assisting with sorting, pricing and displaying of new stock for sale. A Volunteering opportunity is available in our furniture warehouse on Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. If you have an interest in the Retail Industry or if you would like to gain some retail experience, we would welcome your inquiry.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
Retail experience and customer service an advantage.
Must be reliable and honest with a friendly nature and have a basic level of literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to work within a team environment.
National Police check (no cost to yourself)
Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.
Mondays: 8.30am to 5.00pm weekly Saturdays: 9.00am to 4.00 pm weekly Saturdays: 9.00am to 1.00pm Fortnightly as of 26/10/2019
